Reflecting on Five Years as a Professional Organizer and KonMari Consultant. I wanted to take a moment to share some insights that have profoundly shaped my perspective.

I've been lucky to work with people from around the world, each with their unique mindset and living situations. Many of them have been dealing with clutter for a long time.
Here are my thoughts:
#1: Clutter can happen in any family
It doesn't depend on finances, the number of family members, or the number of rooms.
I have seen large, beautiful houses literally consumed by clutter. And small apartments that withing a months were becoming so bright and cozy, you didn't want to leave.
#2: Clutter ALWAYS interferes with living, caring for loved ones, resting, and working.
Clutter impacts every aspect of our lives, from our ability to relax and spend time with loved ones to our productivity at work. It creates chaos and distractions, making it difficult to focus on what truly matters.
#3: Decluttering is not everything
Simply purging a large amount of your belongings doesn't really solve the problem.
You might feel better for a bit, but unless you tackle why things got cluttered in the first place and set up effective organizational systems, you'll likely end up right back where you started.
#4: It is about you
Organizing isn't just about tidying up—it's also about getting in touch with yourself. It's about figuring out what kind of life you want to live and being real with yourself about whether you're happy with where you're at.
#5: We lose control - we lose joy!
Organizing a home is about managing both your space and your life. When we lack control over our belongings and our homes, we lose an incredible amount of energy and time, making it harder to accomplish tasks. Some of my clients have shared that they simply didn't want to do anything at times. There was no joy at home anymore
It's incredible how organization is such a simple tool, yet it transforms life so profoundly! Time and again, I see how my clients' lives change – how their inner state transforms. More energy, more joy, more balance!
Don't let clutter come between you and your life 🤎
